IQAC quality initiatives

1. Curricular Aspects

•   Well planned academic calendar and conduct of continuous internal assessment
•  Industrial Visits and Internships are being arranged to bridge the gap between Industry and academics
•  Value added courses/add-on courses certification courses are being introduced to the students to enhance their skills apart from academics. This is a student-centric approach to learning or acquiring higher education.
•  Cross-cutting issues such as Gender Equality etc., are being implemented.

2. Teaching - Learning and Evaluation

•   Establishment of in house technical hub (T-Hub) for industry oriented training and certification courses.
•   Ensure that the curriculum is updated regularly to align with industry trends and technological advancements
•   Students centric pedagogy to achieve graduate attributes.
•   Promote pedagogical innovation and encouraging innovative teaching practices among the staff.
•   Implement mechanisms for collecting feedback from students, alumni, and employers to assess the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process.

3. Research Innovations and Extension

•   Established an Incubation Centre for promoting entrepreneurship (Start-up activities) in the student community.
•   R and D incentive policy
•   Innovation Ecosystem is established to support the Faculty to apply for funding agencies for research projects.
•   Approval of research centres (EEE,CSE and ECE) by JNTUK, Kakinada
•   Initiation of Consultancy on modest scale.

4. Infrastructure and Learning Resources

•   ACOE Maintains Clean and Green campus environment
•   ACOE has ICT enabled class rooms and well equipped laboratories
•   Remote access facility to e-learning for students and faculty
•   Enhanced IT facilities

5. Student Support and Progression

•   Strengthened Career Guidance Cell, Placement Cell and Sports facilities.
•   Transparent mechanism for timely redressal of student grievances including sexual harassment and ragging cases.
•   Institute has student chapters like IEEE, ISTE and CSI
•   Implemented Mentor – Mentee System.Students are mentored (1:20) by interactive sessions other than the regular classroom / laboratory contact hours.
•   ACOE offers merit scholarships.

•   NSS-ACOE is getting Consistent awards for NSS activities especially for blood donation.
